Location: West London
Salary: DOE
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: Asap - August 2026

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and reliable Site Manager to join our team and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation, maintenance, and security of our school site. This is a key role responsible for providing a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the general maintenance, repair, and upkeep of school buildings and grounds
  • Ensure health & safety compliance across the site, including regular inspections and risk assessments
  • Manage site security, including lock/unlock procedures, alarms, and access control
  • Coordinate and supervise contractors carrying out maintenance or improvement work
  • Carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks (plumbing, basic electrics, decorating, etc.)
  • Monitor and manage maintenance budgets, supplies, and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as fire safety and emergency procedures
  • Support lettings and out-of-hours activities where required

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience in a site management, facilities, or caretaking role
  • Has a strong understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Possesses good practical maintenance skills
  • Is organised, dependable, and able to work independently
  • Has good communication skills and works well as part of a team
  • Is flexible and able to respond to emergencies when needed

Desirable Qualifications/Experience

  • IOSH/NEBOSH Health & Safety certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience working in a school or educational environment
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and compliance in education settings
